We Help with Storm Damage & Tree Damage

This photo shows how quickly a fallen tree on the roof can lead to water damage. A tree crashed through this home's roof and water soon began to leak through onto the carpet and subflooring. Once we tarped up the roof, we came in and extracted the water and began the drying process. We created a drying chamber, as shown in the bottom right photo, by hanging plastic to close off the affected area. We set up a dehumidifier and air movers in the closed off area. This closed system helped quicken the drying process by concentrating the equipment's efforts.

November Storms in Sultan

The biggest threat to restoration work is time. Never wait to get the affected area taken care of. To efficiently dry this structure we had to flood cut the wet drywall. If not dried quickly, water can be wicked up into the drywall. The drywall then needs to be removed. The removal of the drywall also allows the wall behind to be dried properly.
