National Night Out is tonight! 16,000 communities across the country will be gathering together to increase awareness for crime in their communities.
About National Night Out
National Night Out, or NNO, is a community-building event that has been around for over 30 years. NNO’s goal is to bring communities and their police together to raise awareness for crime and drug prevention, foster support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirits and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. In short, the goal is to create safer, better places to live.
