A small, undetected water leak behind the dishwasher led to mold development on the back wall of the cabinet space in this kitchen.

The apartment staff requested that the countertop remain in place due to the unavailability of replacement laminate. Our team carefully removed the faces of the cabinets for later re-use, braced and supported the countertops, and collapsed the cabinet boxes. Drywall behind the cabinets was removed and wet studs were dried. Mold was then contained and removed.

After mold mitigation, we repaired the drywall and rebuilt the cabinets under the counter tops. The cabinets were refaced with the original drawer fronts and drawers, leaving the final product looking "Like it never even happened."
