Smoke Damage in Snohomish Stadium
The interior of this school stadium received extensive fire and smoke damage after a fire was left burning in the first aid room. Fire consumed the entire room but the cement walls kept the fire contained to the room and the fire eventually burned itself out. Even though the fire didn't reach the whole building, smoke and soot were pulled through the HVAC system and the entire building. Restrooms, locker rooms, equipment rooms, and offices were covered in soot.
Timely action was needed so the stadium would be ready for the upcoming spring season. SERVPRO of North Everett/ Lake Stevens/ Monroe came in and cleaned the soot from all surfaces, rooms, stairwells and equipment. We worked with contractors to replace damaged ceilings, paint, and to clean and restore the HVAC system. Textile cleaners were used to clean affected uniforms. Working with a tight schedule, the stadium was ready for the start of the spring season.
