Everett School Impacted by Flooding and Water Damage

During a heavy rain storm this Everett school experienced extensive flooding due to a faulty check valve. The lower levels of the school were impacted, including the gymnasium, bathrooms, shower rooms, storage closets and janitorial closet as were some seasonal decorations. Above is one of the hallways that was flooded and needed water extraction and cleaning.

SERVPRO of North Everett/Lake Stevens/Monroe was called in to extract the water, dry and clean the affected areas. The flooding from the storm drains was contaminated, so after drying we cleaned and sanitized the entire area. We were able to perform restoration services quickly and the school was able to use the damaged area after just two weeks.
