Mold Removal in Lake Stevens Rental Property

Bad ventilation and airflow led to microbial growth throughout the attic space of this Lake Stevens rental home. The attic's baffles were blocked with insulation, preventing airflow throughout the attic space.

SERVPRO of North Everett/ Lake Stevens/ Monroe first removed all insulation from the attic. Mold remediation then proceeded to remove microbial growth from the space. Containment chambers were set up to contain spores, and a HEPA vacuum was used to remove any surface growth and to collect any spores on the sheetrock. HEPA air scrubbers were used to collect spores released into the air during the HEPA vacuuming. Finally, our team treated the plywood sheathing with a solution to remove any remaining roots.
